This reminds me of the (Japanese? Sorry, cant recall) Gymnastics Olympian who competed on the Mens Rings, event, in the 70s, despite having a broken/severely injured knee...yet this ultra-athlete still competed, & while the crowd held their breath, he courageously and honorably nailed his landing, and took the GOLD for his team!!! This series of penalty kicks -- well, this fella, Sterlings legacy at least -- shall undoubtedly live on for decades.... Insanity! Miraculous! Torturous! Stranger than fiction!! This could NEVER have been planned and achieved, I mean what are the odds!?! its WICKEDLY trippy (& a bit painful, indeed!)! Whether youre a soccer lover or not, youre missing out if you dont check out this vid...the audio enhances the vid even further by listening to the comical British commentators, in utter disbelief of what transpires....Enjoy!
