This reminds me of why I completely disagree with the the most common and most useless pieces of dating advice almost everyone will give you. The advice being Just be yourself, and Dont play games. Beside contradictions its not advice, its saying you got this, you dont need my advice. First if you have been single for decades maybe you need to stop being youself and focus on self improvement or maybe you need to establish yourself. Most people dont completely know themselves and some are completely lost. Second, everything in life is a mental game. A your success , your reputation, your identity is all created by how you play the psychological game of human interaction. Ever read one of those books on good interview techniques? Thats playing games. The only real difference is the people who say and believe playing games is an asshole are just playing these games subconsciously, ignorant to the truth, lack self awareness and/or just a hypocrite. So... Good advice? Bad advice? Anal probe?
