This seems like a really interesting ending to the series. What bothers me is the comments below... in my mind it was no longer a childrens book series after the 3rd. Every single one of them got darker and more in depth. So how can someone say this ending is too complicated for 12 year olds when the whole thing is about a kid whos parents were killed , he got sent to family who abused him, and for 7 years an evil dude is trying to kill him in the most gruesome ways. So, remind me again... how are these childrens books? I dont really expect comments on this I just figured a rant was in order.
