This seems like a strange commercial, except that it really happened. The war almost fell apart on Christmas in 1914. If it did, the 20th Century would have been better off. Millions of people who died would not have. But instead it lasted another four years, and spawned another more devastating war some twenty years later. The leaders of these men made sure this would never happen again, by ordering artillery bombardments on Christmas every subsequent year.
