This should be interesting: How is the conversation about guns still happening?? How is it that a follower of Christ can own a tool meant to destroy? The Jesus I read about does not seem to value violence...except for that one time in the temple, but then, he is God. So, ya. How is this not a major social issue for Christians? The bottom line is this: owning a gun is a moral issue...and as Christians, we have a responsibility to live...and to die...for love and justice. Owning a gun is diametrically opposed to the teachings of Christ.
