This should read all Veterant and Troops!........... Subj: Fwd: American Oaths I will try to keep this short. There is a few attachments for informational purposes. I have concerns from articles I have read. Many claims are being made that barack hussein obama fact has been firing high ranking U.S. Military offices. Reason ? Because he is weeding out the officers that can not, and will not give orders to military troops to shoot American civilians. True , ?? I dont know. Do I think it is possible ? YES, I do. Now, I also have read, articles that barack hussein obama, is working on police powers for martial law to be imposed in America. United Nations powers are working to disarm Americans, by using people from other Countries in the UN, they are more likely to shoot an American, and if and when this happens, the local Police respond, then martial law starts, and its a downward spiral, a very fast, and dangerous one! My point is, all the attached Oaths, are taken to serve the Constitution of the United States of America. Not any one person ! Even the office of the President, has to follow the Constitution. I know, something broken there! This part is very IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ, AND TAKE TO HEART! THINK All Members of the U.S. Armed Forces,if ordered to shoot upon Americans, this is an illegal order! All Members of Federal,State,City, County,Town law enforcement, it is against the law to follow illegal orders, and shoot Americans. NOW WHAT I WANT ALL PEOPLE UNDER ORDERS TO SHOOT AN AMERICAN FOR NON-COMPLIANCE TO THINK ABOUT. While your working in one location in America, and you have Family, loved ones , friends in another location, think about this, as your kicking in a door, because obama said it was okay, at the same time, there could be another agency kicking in the front door of someone you Love, and getting shot, by following bad orders! No United Nations troops on American soil. No Martial law, unless the Governor of a State, feels it needs to be imposed. No firing upon Americans, when they havent broken any laws, and do not cause a threat. barrack hussein obama, In my opinion, is ONE of the Biggest problem America has to deal with, along with his cronies. obama is the Problem! ALWAYS REMEBER YOUR OATHS, ITS TO THE CONSTITUTION, GOD AND COUNTRY! ITS NEVER TO ANY ONE PERSON! GOD BLESS AMERICA,AND ALL THAT LOVE HER. PLEASE SHARE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, AND ASK OTHERS TO DO THE SAME. ITS TIME TO SAVE OUR COUNTRY! Oath of office of the President of the United States From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The oath of office of the President of the United States is an oath or affirmation required by the United States Constitution before the President begins the execution of the office. The wording is specified in Article Two, Section One, Clause Eight: Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation:— “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” Text of the Oaths of Office for Supreme Court Justices Justices of the Supreme Court of the United States are required to take two oaths before they may execute the duties of their appointed office. The Constitutional Oath As noted below in Article VI, all federal officials must take an oath in support of the Constitution: The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States. The Constitution does not provide the wording for this oath, leaving that to the determination of Congress. From 1789 until 1861, this oath was, I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support the Constitution of the United States. During the 1860s, this oath was altered several times before Congress settled on the text used today, which is set out at 5 U. S. C. § 3331. This oath is now taken by all federal employees, other than the President: I, _________, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God. The Judicial Oath The origin of the second oath is found in the Judiciary Act of 1789, which reads the justices of the Supreme Court, and the district judges, before they proceed to execute the duties of their respective offices to take a second oath or affirmation. From 1789 to 1990, the original text used for this oath (1 Stat. 76 § 8) was: I, _________, do solemnly swear or affirm that I will administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me as _________, according to the best of my abilities and understanding, agreeably to the constitution and laws of the United States. So help me God. In December 1990, the Judicial Improvements Act of 1990 replaced the phrase according to the best of my abilities and understanding, agreeably to the Constitution with under the Constitution. The revised Judicial Oath, found at 28 U. S. C. § 453, reads: I, _________, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me as _________ under the Constitution and laws of the United States. So help me God. The Combined Oath Upon occasion, appointees to the Supreme Court have taken a combined version of the two oaths, which reads: I, _________, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will administer justice without respect to persons, and do equal right to the poor and to the rich, and that I will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon me as _________ under the Constitution and laws of the United States; and that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God. Oath of Federal officers / Civil Servants Oath I, [name], do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God. 5 U.S.C. §3331 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As Federal civil servants, we take an oath of office by which we swear to support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America. The Constitution not only establishes our system of government, it actually defines the work role for Federal employees - to establish Justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty. The history of the Oath for Federal employees can be traced to the Constitution, where Article II includes the specific oath the President takes - to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States. Article VI requires an oath by all other government officials from all three branches, the military, and the States. It simply states that they shall be bound by oath or affirmation to support the Constitution. The very first law passed by the very first Congress implemented Article VI by setting out this simple oath in law: I do solemnly swear or affirm (as the case may be) that I will support the Constitution of the United States. The wording we use today as Executive Branch employees is now set out in chapter 33 of title 5, United States Code. The wording dates to the Civil War and what was called the Ironclad Test Oath. Starting in 1862, Congress required a two-part oath. The first part, referred to as a background check, affirmed that you were not supporting and had not supported the Confederacy. The second part addressed future performance, that is, what you would swear to do in the future. It established a clear, publicly sworn accountability. In 1873, Congress dropped the first part of the Ironclad Test Oath, and in 1884 adopted the wording we use today. All commissioned officers in the United States military must make the following oath of office when they are appointed in the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy or U.S. Marine Corps: “I, (state your name), having been appointed a (rank) in the United States (branch of service), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the office upon which I am about to enter. So help me God.” (a) Enlistment Oath.— Each person enlisting in an armed force shall take the following oath: I, XXXXXXXXXX, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God. What Is the Law Enforcement Code of Ethics? Policeman The topic of ethics and ethical behavior has faced society for centuries. Law enforcement personnel, in particular, face this issue daily. In recognizing this issue, the International Association of Chiefs of Police developed the Law Enforcement Code of Ethics to govern the behavior of all law enforcement personnel. How The Oath Is Used The Law Enforcement Code of Ethics is used as the oath of office for many law enforcement personnel upon graduation from an academy. Law enforcement professionals also take this oath when taking employment. This oath remains morally binding through the officers career. Other Aspects Of The Oath There are other codes of ethics in existence that are taken by law enforcement personnel. They all involve the same concepts as IACPs Oath of Honor. They expect officers to keep private lives honorable, to only use the amount of force necessary to secure criminals, develop self-restraint, stay objective when enforcing the law, never accept gratuities, and to uphold the Constitutional rights of all citizens.
