This situation is an absolute nightmare and prosecutorial abuse. The article states He was convicted in January of first-degree assault and armed criminal action. Even though he never physically brought a weapon into either public place, Missouri law allows for the charges because he was gathering resources..........so he had a conspiracy in his own mind???? Does this mean they could convict any individual that happened to own two rifles and 400 rounds of ammo and send them to prison for fifteen years? Granted this guy seems to have mental health issues but that doesnt appear to have entered into the case or the sentence.
