This son of mine. One of my favorite things about him is how he doesnt let things bother him. Thursday night he watched his team lose 21-0 and kept his head up and encouraged his team that there was another game coming! Last night they won a great game and tonight was a nailbiter. He pitched them through to win a spot at district and never let the pressure build. Unless you count the terrible call at first where he got fired up to strike out the opposing teams star batter. I love his heart, winning and losing. His bat was off tonight, his pitching was on, and he never lost heart. What valuable lessons I learn from this sweet 11 year old. THIS IS A GREAT TEAM because of their hearts. We are headed to district! Go Ruston Americans!!
