This song, Walked On Water is a profession of my faith in Jesus Christ. I used some vintage footage from an old funny scare tactic preacher movie, and clips of my Nashville friends in the studio. Im NOT a Christian artist, Im an artist who just happens to be Christian. I dont wear my faith on my sleeve, but Im never ashamed to proclaim it. Ill also profess that Im a sinner. Weve all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. I share my the stories in my music that come at any given moment, and my songs can be about anything everything in my life. Id like to think that my best songs, like for any songwriter, are about true experiences. My father is a retired methodist minister who let me as a kid turn the sanctuary into a rock show coffeehouse, and let my rock band rehearse in the basement of the church. Ive only written a few Jesusy tunes in my life, but many have references to my faith within them. I wanted this song to be a fun tune, with my favorite scriptures about faith based proclamations. I hope this song inspires. I believe God put me on this planet to write, sing and try to touch people with music. Take this for whatever you need it to be as a listener from me. Its a heartfelt expression of my core Christian beliefs. Jesus Christ is the son of God, and you can only reach the Father in heaven through him, by salvation from him, acceptance of him and who he says that he is.
