This song breaks my heart for so many reasons. I dont understand how someone can abandon their child(ren). I just had this conversation the other day and I just wish I could punch certain people in the face. Ive learned the child(ren) are better off without the asshole and fortunately for the ones I love someone has stepped up and became their real parent. Im grateful to these parents because you have given your kid(s) the love they deserve. Im thankful to you all because these kids have to face the fact that someone gave up on them. It kills me because I could never imagine this feeling. Id be devastated if my parents didnt love me like they do. I hope the kid(s) I know will someday (if they dont already) realize that it wasnt their fault and there is nothing wrong with them. I believe you have the parents who love and take care of you best. No one can replace that. Youre extra special because they chose to fall in love with you and be there when they didnt have to be. Im so grateful my daughter already has two parents that love her unconditionally and I swear to whatever higher power that I will always be by your side, Lyllianna! That goes for Xander too. I never wanna know a life without you two!
