This song cinched AM for me. Turner is comfortable in his now - TopicsExpress

This song cinched AM for me. Turner is comfortable in his now trademark swaggering hip shaking rock-n-roll drawl, and the mid-tempo verse serves to lull the listener into thinking that this song is going nowhere in a hurry. Then they start playing War Pigs (Black Sabbath) at you and the chorus is here, THUDTHUD, and youre paying attention again. This all happens twice. The bridge, starting at 3:06, is a jarring surprise when first heard, but on only the second listen youll understand that it fits perfectly and kicks the song up from filler to single in about 25 seconds. The falsetto call and response vocals, glittering tambourine and dry yet thumping kick-snare-kick all slap together like a balisong knife in a greasers hand. Also the video shows some seriously breathtaking women showing a lot of skin. Give it a listen.
