This song played the day I got the news my good friend Jay Chaves died suddenly. I truly lost it. It meant so much to me. We used to rides our bikes and sit on the little bridge/ tiny pier at the end of Silver street. ( in the woods, not everyone knew it was even there... my 1st real kiss, my 1st real love, & i learned then from him how to stay friends with the ones I loved that mattered.) Now Granted we were too young to drink a beer then. So I have walked to the end of my beautiful pier, with a beer in hand, replaying this song many times over this last year, the tears still fell, still in disbelief. Amazing how music can transport you to a time and place that just memories alone cant do. Miss knowing you no longer look at the same moon and stars that I do at the end of some pier. AND will miss this with your sons & that you wont get to drink a beer with them enjoying the view. ... heres to you my friend.
