This sort of story was one of the reasons my sympathies used to lie with the Jewish people but these days I find it hard to reconcile that sympathy with the stories which come from Israel about their treatment of the Palestinians! Youd think of all the people in the world that Israelis would be the most empathic and forgiving, but unfortunately this isnt the case. And what horrifies me even more is the fact that there are still people in this world who think theres nothing wrong with this!! Visualise, if you can bear to do it, the refugee camps .. and the Detention camps like Manus Island and Nauru with regard to Australia, and hang your heads in shame, Abbott and Morrison!!!
