This starts the week we never enjoy. We will meet as a team today after school and turn in our pads and clean out lockers. For many of our seniors they may never put on the pads again. For some that can be depressing. Football is different than others because of the pads. It is different looking through the face mask of a helmet. It is different due to the physical contact your body has to endure, and then to do it day after day, and year after year with your teammates. Those are the relationships and bonds that make a football team a little different. For the younger guys there is next year, but it wont be the same because this group of seniors will be gone. We hope our young guys have learned from those that have gone before them. There are things to continue doing and those not to do. We want to take more steps in the right direction. We are losing some very good players that have been starters for a long time. We do have some good players returning and others that can be if they work for it. We believe they will. We want to thank the entire team for making this a fun year. Yes it would have been nice to win more games, but this group was enjoyable to work with. GO BRUINS!
