This story is for all my friends that work in bicycle retail. Recently at our store in Milwaukie we had a shoplifter steal several bike lights. It was a grab a handful & run out the door situation. Said thief was chased & caught (maybe 75 yards of chase). He willingly handed over the lights to Ryan, our store manager. Ryan insisted he just wanted our goods back. The thief thought everything was cool. Ryan continued to follow the thief as he dialed 9-1-1. As they crossed the street into the Fred Meyer parking lot, who do you think was waiting? Two of Clackamas Co. Finest! Ryan insisted they have a little conversation with the shoplifter. Funny thing, the shoplifter had a Felony Warrant out for his arrest. Another bad guy is now off the streets. Thanks Ryan Kelner for being fast on your feet and using your head!
