This summer, God is teaching me this verse: Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring. Proverbs 27:1. We started our vacation and the next day got a call that Joes mother had passed away. While we were preparing for that service, we received word that my cousin and her husband were killed in a car accident. Today I started to my dads and saw Hunter with 3 of his friends leaving to ride 4 wheelers. I thought how nice it was that these healthy young guys were spending time together and what it might mean in the future. An hour later I got the call that there had been a 4 wheeler accident and one young man was being taken to the hospital. Logan was taken to Wilson n Jones, but then sent to Dallas Childrens. He has a punctured lung and internal bleeding. He was awake and talking, but in pain. Please pray for him and his family. I know they have a few long days ahead of them. Logans grandmother and I used to do GA Camp together. I know she has a deep faith. She and her sister were talking about that at the hospital. It just takes a moment for life to change. But how thankful to know God is in control.
