This sweet boy was bought as a therapy pony. We were assured he would be a great therapy pony for our severely disabled 5 year old. He is not. He is a sugar. He is quirky and silly and a big stinker but he is not therapy pony material. And if we had the property we would keep him as a family pet. But we dont. So he has to go. He is great with kids! He is great with other animals. When it comes to horses, he is a follower and just wants to hang. He would make a great companion to a rodeo horse. He also likes to whoo the ladies and gets his feelings hurt when they dont recipricate. :) He is a mini paint gelding and is 12 years old. He loves his feed! When we got him several months ago, he had fungus on his back feet but we were able to clear that up. The farrier will be out again this next week and will verify that he is clear. He also had a full exam and the vet says he looks great. I was told that he is double registered with AMHA/AMHR but I do not have his paperwork in hand. He was shown in halter when he was younger and placed third in the national show. Asking what we paid for him. $400. Serious inquiries only and he will only go to a good home. He needs to be with people. He loves to help with yard work (he is an excellent supervisor) and loves to follow the kids around. I dont want him as a pasture pony only.
