Im free the chains are loosed now I live with glee a bondslave to the Lord I live righteously He removed the scales so my eyes now can see His wrath satisfied now He smiles down at me and I stand proud in awe of amazing grace though i see Him not still I can see His face my sins erased the record is purged now my name is wrtten in His Book of Life and He keeps it safe some say i take it too far im obsessed but Hes a consuming fire and I feel Him burning deep in my chest the light shining through the dark of my flesh consuming me in His love keeping me strong as I enter my test so yes, I confess, Im possessed by God nevertheless I can rest from my works and strive to give praise to a worthy God sing, rap, dance, and speak of His mercy let the church reply I lift my hands and raise my voice, cuz Im free! I sing my song and do my dance cuz im free! I raise my Banner, hold it high! Ill send my praises to the sky Ill live my life and serve my Christ, cuz Im free! its warfare that Im engaged in this is a fight for my life so excuse me i got no time to be wastin my wife say Im impatient im doin my job and she know thats why she always been here on my side the Lords liftin me high exalting me in His grace removing the stain of sin the hurt, guilt and the shame strugglin through the pain of not knowing my Lord His love manifested in me and I fell to the floor confessing the blessing of the Spirit poured in my heart powerless to stand before Him beaten, broken, and scarred chosen before predestined and appointed to grace determined to finish the race and be forever conformed to the image and likeness of the incredible Christ the Lamb of God slain the only atoning sacrifice access to the Holy of Holies had a price and now I walk boldly but solely by His might and now Im free to tell about it and if you feel like I feel i aint ashamed to even yell about it because if you love someone you betta show it! so if they come up and ask, u free? let em know it!
