This thing thats happening lately in Hip Hop called Battle Rap is unpatriotic to the culture.. Hip Hop always has as many elements as it can express at once... As an oldschooler I can certainly remember what this battle rapping in its current form really is,,,, its Called Poetry Slamming in battle form... Poetry battles isnt Hip Hop,, why? Because it was born in the colleges.. Hip hop is from the west Bronx,, and Rapping was one of its Latter forms...
