This thinking is why we cannot allow our country to be run by religious beliefs. Any religious beliefs. They may have a place in your homes and hearts but not in our government. If we want to know what a country becomes being ruled by religious philosophies we need only look to Iran. Is that fanaticism what we really want for our country. We are far too diverse of a nation to rule by narrow thoughts from books that are thousands of years old. You cant change the present with the past. Just scary.
