This time last year I flew to NYC from Knoxville to write for a week to see what I came up with in the studio. Praise The Lord I was productive that week & showed enough potential in my songwriting that I was offered a Major Co-Publishing deal only 2 weeks after my trip. Life was crazy for a minute, having to let go of my voice students & move but I got through it!! Ive lived in NYC for 8 short months and more than my dreams have come true. God has already surpassed my expectations. Early next year my songs will be on the radio, music videos etc. Im going ahead & claiming that theyll be high on the charts in Jesus Name. Throughout next year more of the music Ive been blessed to write and co-write will drop. Im overwhelmed by Gods faithfulness and timing. I spoke last year on acceleration and on how God was moving in the area of my music before I ever received the call to come to NYC. I had been claiming a Major Co-Pub deal in Jesus Name before it was ever offered to me. I shouted, praised, thanked and blessed God in advance on expectation. My point in sharing this is not to boast. I have no place to boast; Ive done nothing. My point in sharing is to ENCOURAGE YOU to wait on The Lord and His Divine promotion. Promotion comes from The Lord and when we submit, surrender and trust Him w/ our talents, in DUE SEASON He DELIVERS in abundance and overflow. Be still. Seek Him. Pray. Fast. Trust Him to move mountains, grant you favor w/ people in high places...and most importantly submit to His process of preparation knowing that He has not forgotten what Hes placed inside you. Hes FAITHFUL to those who love and trust Him and He specializes in making impossible dreams come true. To God be ALL the glory!
