This time last year, I made one of the most life changing decisions ever which I never imagined would change me as a person as much as it has done. I joined Gorbals Photography Group (thanks to Katy for that). In this past year, I have met so many amazing people and learnt so much about working with others. As little time it may seem, so many things have changed and the following message sums it up I certainly wont forget the young girl who popped along and only wanted to photograph flowers who grew into the young woman we got to know That isnt an exaggeration, i could only work the macro setting haha! The group helped me to gain so much confidence I didnt know I had inside me, it found the interest for me I didnt even know I had, and it made me a better person who now realises what ambitions they have and I couldnt be anymore thankful for that. I havent actually learnt a great deal about photography but I have learnt that I am intrigued by it and that it is something I want to pursue. I would never have opened these doors without each and every person at Gorbals Photography Group, big thank you to Andy who wanted to start up the group in the first place. I have decided to call it a day and leave the group, I have so many exciting things coming up and im now moving onto the next stage. Photography has allowed me to meet some of the most important people in my life, you know who you are :) and I will probably never be able to put into words how happy that makes me. I just want to say the biggest thank you ever to each and every one of you who has offered to help me out in some of the biggest ways possible and in some of the simpliest ways, I appreciate you all greatly. Without the encouragement of others, id never have found myself in this position. I have so much to learn but ill never stop learning so 2015, lets do it!
