This time last year I was running back and forth from the hospital, to work, to Morehead and trying to make a way out of no way. My Daddy was in the hospital unable to take care of himself. He had some mini strokes that affected his mind. I was scared, he was mad because he just wanted to go home... We talked about KSU and how much he loved this place. You see in the decades he attended and worked at KSU he rarely missed a game. Ive seen him go in the rain after being released from the hospital. He worked the ticket booth for years. He had the same seats section D Row 30 seats 11 and 12 for decades...until last year. The year before my Dad literally crawled on all fours to reach his seat. He loved KSU. He supported the University even when they didnt support him. To him KSU made him the successful man that he was. He loved KSU. My Daddy is gone, Hes really gone. Homecoming and KSU will never be the same to me.
