This time last year I was struggling with how to handle a student who hated me & claimed she was going to run me off like she had other teachers she didnt like. Today that same student showed up at my classroom door to give me a hug & tell me she was getting copies of her transcript to send to a few colleges she wanted to transfer to next year. & apparently the way she talked her way into getting upstairs was I have to tell Miss Harris how I am doing! Shes the reason I graduated high school. Im so thankful she didnt give up on me. Shes the reason I do what I do.
