This time of year brings back memories when I was a child,I can still smell the smoke that came out of the old heating stove,As only my momma would do,Yes build a small fire,So us kids would stay warm,The smell of morning breakfast.Biscuits baking,Gravy,And fried bologna,and eggs,Shuchy beans hanging up to dry,potatoes under the house in what we called a tater hole.canned food,Our cloths hanging out on a cloths line to dry,And with the fall wind blowing they would be dried in a short time.Yes I remember those days,GOD blessed us with a good hard workin momma,All us kids that were old enough had to help,Back then we were faced with a lot of harsh winters.
