This touched my heart! You dont have to be homeless to have your heart warmed by a couple of strangers who decided to feed you. Sometimes we dont even recognize the positive effect we have on others with our natural actions. Just last night my mother was laying on the bed while I folded laundry. She is suffering from Parkinsons/Dementia and she said to me in a very coherent manner, I know having me here so unexpectedly has been hard on you. And your father and I cant thank you enough for taking care of us. What can we do to help YOU? And I said to her, I just want you to be as comfortable and safe as possible for these later years of your life...(holding back all of the tears) and when I am laying on a bed in the same way you are right now, at the same age, I will feel content with myself for having done the RIGHT thing in being here for you when you needed me most. Dont be afraid to love. Dont be afraid to attach LOVE to your actions. Forgive yourself for your imperfections and praise yourself for the kind things you have accomplished.
