This unassuming restaurant gave us such a delicious experience, that we were simply wowed. The restaurant does not cash in on a celebrity ownership....staff are well mannered and food delicious and unique. Great concept. Special days have beautifully created puttu..for eg:The onam one which had payasam and a thrikkakara appan mould puttu The chef is a creative artist and each puttu dish is a visual delight. The puttu itself is soft and melt in the mouth. We had different curries and they all were superb. The black tea accompaniment washed down the lavish fare satisfactorily. No doubt, the puttu is the hero here, the chef director and its a SUPER HIT! The ambience is rustic and creative. The puttu train and the big puttu kudam decorative pieces all lends to the charming experience . To my surprise the prices were reasonable and that is another plus point. The location is also great. I wish they would expand and open branches in all the metros of India , so we malayalees can enjoy the puttu all over India. Dhe Puttu Team Salute your review Preeti Madam.
