This video can be a bit difficult to watch, for some, so here are the Cliffs Notes: He was diagnosed with autism and his parents were told he would probably never learn to talk or tie his own shoes. He was placed into public school special ed program. His mother removed him around the age of 5 and allowed him to explore his own interests. By the age of 8 he was doing advanced college mathematics. By the age of 11 he was admitted into a University and became the youngest professional physics researcher in history. He is soon to have his first scientific paper published, proving a new mathematical concept he created. His TED talk here is about genius arent just really smart people, and the difference between learning and thinking. In short: Anyone can be a genius. Stop learning, and start thinking. Good boy! I couldnt have said it better myself. :)
