This video has been around for a while now, but is very much worth watching again. I understand this boys pain. My own daughters have suffered with bullying, too...especially Cheyenne. People are amazed at the bond we share. This is why. I refused to lose any of my children to bullying! My girls have a very strong connection. Not only are they sisters, they are friends & confidants, they are each others support network. We watch out for each other. Children between the ages of 10 & 18 REALLY need your help & input. They need you not only as a parent, but also as a friend. Take time to try to truly understand the world THEY live in. Many things are the same, but many things are different. Dont give them more stuff...give them more of your TIME. Dont judge them. Try your best to understand & empathize. Ask your kids to explain as best they can what is going on in their world. Before your teen will open up to you, they must trust you. They will tell you things that will anger you. Stop! Think! You cant help if you dont know whats wrong!! Do not get angry. They want help...help them! If YOU are part of the problem...accept it! Learn...and FIX the problem!! Parents can be bullies, too. I am so proud of the women my eldest two have become & the woman my youngest is becoming. They are strong, yet gentle. They take no shit from anyone & still go out of their way to help others with a loving heart. Our children need us. Help them, educate them, build them up...this is how we have a stronger, brighter future.
