This was brought to my attention today from a family member. It doesnt matter where you live all of you can help get this out there. School bullying has gotten so out of control it is unbelievable. Talk to your kids, let them know how important it is to talk to you and if they dont think they can talk to you, let them know that they can go to a school counslor, a teacher anyone but they need to know that they can go talk to someone. Bullying is not ok. I know if they try and stand up for themselves that it may not work. If your kids are being bullied or they know someone that is being bullied they need to TELL someone. Letting someone know that you are being bullied isnt being a tattle tail, but you know what even if it is so be it. I am going to do research and try and be the voice of someone that is being bullied. I am going to go to the school district and see after I get everything I need if I can talk to the schools. I dont have any school age children, but I do have school age grandchildren. Today it was also brought to my attention that a friend of my nephews committed suicide, because she was being bullied. She was only 14 years old. It isnt ok that this happened. Her parents are probably wondering why. I dont know if she ever talked to her parents about this or not. If my talking to schools will stop one person from getting bulklied then I believe that she didnt die in vain. Oh and in case you think it wont happen to my kids, it can and it might be happening already. If someone tells you that your child is bullying their child or someon elses child please dont push it to the side. Investigate, search your childs room and their computer. Cyber bullying is just as big of thing. People cyber bully all the time, they jus arent caught. A few weeks ago I saw on the news that there was a football coach that found out that some kids on his team were bullying people. He made the whole team do some community service. Parents were pissed but I say way to go to the coach. It also doesnt matter if your kids go to a private school or Christian school, it happens there too. It happens more than people think. Nobody thinks that Christian kids would bully other kids but they do. My final thought........LETS AS PARENTS/GRANDPARENTS STOP THE BULLYING........
