This was mine and Roger Lloyd song when he was alive and now that hes gone...I think it still is...He always told me not to worry cause God had a plan.. Chanler and I miss ya, I know you and mom are reminiscing up there and even cracking jokes about me cooking thanksgiving dinner for everyone. I may have not always been the best but Ive always been the best at being Season. Moma use to say death brings you closer. No..Death makes you realize your mortality and what you want to leave behind when you go. Me? I want everyone to remember me for my humor when I go. I want my boys to remember that no matter how dire the circumstances, God seen us through and regardless of whatever addictions, bad times, or whatever was happening, I did my best..and God never gave up on me and so I never have up on ME no matter how many times over the years Ive been tempted..Life is beautiful. You cant always control the hand that is dealt to you but you CAN control how you perceive it and how you handle it. There are days still I went to cry and scream because I CANT call chanlers dad or my mom no more but I dont...Like Roger always told me..God has a plan. What my mom always said. I was born to shine. And I believe it..I feel blessed for my boys and my family...I feel blessed that Ive made so many smile here and there. I just feel blessed period...
