This was posted in the recent Down Syndrome Newsletter and may be relevant to some of our families who live in the area. Down Syndrome Victoria has the capacity to set up a MyTime group for families of children aged 0-16, who have a disability, developmental delay or chronic medical condition, in the Glen Eira Council area. This group could meet weekly or fortnightly, on a weekday morning, with occasional evening or weekend sessions for the whole family to get together. The group needs to have at least 15 families registered and at least 8 parents attending on a regular basis. Parents get together at a MyTime group, for mutual support, to share and to learn about services that can support their parenting role.
