This was recorded during Elvis second Lake Tahoe season and after an earlier rest for 2 months his voice was improving. He must also have been in a good mood since he offered to perform this extra Mothers Day concert at 3am, from which he donated his appearance fee to the local hospital in the name of his mother, Gladys. Incredibly this was his third performance of the day, as he had already done his usual Dinner and Midnight shows and Elvis is in a great mood throughout. Unfortunately, the last eight shows of the engagement would be cancelled due to ill health. This version of a song which was recorded in Nashville during June 1970 and featured on the album, Elvis Country, was officially released by Sony on the FTD album Takin Tahoe Tonite which featured the entire 3am show. https://youtube/watch?v=ITw6La0kx0w
