This was sent in reply to an Article by Himanghu Sinha in Bartaman dt.11-8-2013. ===================================================== I have gone through several reports for the last 4 years about the misdeeds of the CPM in their rule oft 34 years in Bengal.But in fact,you have missed the main point or the Agenda of the undivided Communist led by Jyoti Basu during the period of Dr.B.C.Roy,,the 1st Chief Minister of Bengal elected through Democratic norms.It was the Communists who always created hurdles for Dr.Roy to carry out the restructuring of the Weat Bengal due ro heavy influx of the Refugees from the East Pakisthan where they were driven out forcibly by the Muslims of East Pakisthan,now called Bangladesh.It was the Communists who always played with the sentiments of the Refugees and created constant hurdles in the administration on any false pretext,though the steps taken by Dr.Roy during those period for the upliftment of the economic and social conditions of the Refugees still draws applause from the all corners of the public in West Bengal.But the Communists always played politics in Bengal with the refugee affairs.To illustrate their misdeeds in Weat Bengal,another Balmiki is required to write a history like Ramayana. As such instead of writing a peace-meal Article about the Communist as a whole,it would be better if you kindly devote your mind in writing an Epic Book like Ramayana about the Communists in a chronological order since Indian Independence in the year 1947 to the end of their downfall in May,2011 in Bengal . If you can do it like Barun Sengupta,who wrote"Indira Ekadashi"on the eve of the temporary DOWNFALL OF INDIRA GANDHI,THE PUBLIC OF BENGAL AND IF TRANSLATED IN ENGLISH,THE PEOPLE OF INDIA SHALL GET A TRUE IDEA OF THE COMMUNISTS IN INDIA..One thing should not be forgotten is that they always blamed the Congress for their misdeeds in every corner of the Administration,but when the time for the formation of Union Govt.came,they always supported the Congress.A CLEAR CASE OF DOUBLE STANDARD
