This was shown to me yesterday by my sister Melissa. For those who know my situation can probably see why I am so moved by this skit.For those who dont know (and it doesnt mean I dont love u enough to say) maybe this can help explain. Eitherway I feel compelled to tell you that right when I began relating myself to this, my phone began ringing. Of course i look to see and its Robert. A collect call from jail. Of course a million thoughts but I maintain focus on this beautiful dialogue Im seeing unfold on the tv, so I silence the call. Another ring. Another feeling rushes over me that is too familiar ( u know that paniky what to do feeling?) Still I stay focused bcuz the skit is REALLY GETTING GOOD. silence the call. At this point im literally seeing the chaos in my life play out on the screen and as I am trying to just put that revalation into place...yup another ring. Im so overwhelmed by now, I honestly wanted to jump up and scream DEAR GOD MAKE HIM STOP!. But I didnt. I sat there and I cried and it was a mixture of cries. Good n Sad n Mad n well u get it. But BUT... this is the kicker...it was that EXACT same moment at the end if the skit (u will see what i mean) that my phone had stopped ringing. Not bcuz I silenced it.Bcuz God had silenced it for me. Im sure most of my people know lifehouse the band. Check out this skit pkayed out during their song Everything. ...
