This was the house where I grew up ...... where all were welcome where neighbors were family where many lessons were learned where we planted little saplings that now surround and protect where our Dad poured sweat and blood to make it comfortable for us where Mom and Dad made sure we were loved where Moms body left this world but not her spirit where Mom bathed our children in the kitchen sink where Dad sat on the porch with the kids on his lap where my sisters locked me in the closets and pinched my hair :) where memories are many and most of them good where the river was close and sometimes my best friend where our family was happy where the house is now gone ...but it will always be our HOME...................... It was a great place to grow up with the best neighbors we could ask for :)
