This was written by a friend of mine whose veteran son recently took his life: To me its appropriate on Memorial Day Weekend to acknowledge the truth. Our military was not intended to be used to be sacrificed for the corporate profits of the Wealthy Elite. For all of you that proudly wave your flags and announce your support of the troops.. please do not take putting our troops in harms way lightly. This should be done reluctantly and always focused on protecting American Soil. Interfering in the civil wars and politics of other countries has caused more harm to America than any outside force has ever done. you may think you cant make a difference, Ill admit its overwhelming but please support politicians that go against the military adventurism thats hurting America. If youre my friend you know Im passionate about this. If you listen to returning troops you will have a hard time finding many soldiers that want to pursue this madness! We need to spend our time and resources improving our country, defending our soil, and standing as a beacon to the world of freedom and opportunity. We must return to that honorable stance.
