This was yesterday in Westwood. What a shame that they exploited Martin Luther King for their cause. As if they even know what he stood for. He believed in Zionism and the right of the Jewish people to live free and return to the land that they were exiled from, Israel. He clearly states that Anti-Zionism IS Anti-Semitism and a pure Jewish hatred in disguise. Yesterday I was at the pro-Israel rally in LA. The Israelis played music and danced holding up signs for peace, basically turning the rally into a block party because they are happy to stand with Israel, a democracy and protector of civil rights for all of its citizens no matter if they are Muslim or Jew or Christian. On the other side of the street was a counter protest filled with the same pro-Palestine people shown in this video. They were standing in front of the cemetery of veterans who died defending America, and these people support the same terrorist groups that burn American flags. Some violence broke out because some pro-palestinian activists drove by in a truck and got out and started beating Israel supporters with a flag pole. Because of this they told everyone on that side of the street (aka all the pro-Israel rally attenders) to go home. We were told to all leave so that violence will not escalate. People were telling each other to not fight back or get involved, just to go home and get something to eat. But the pro-Palestine side got to stay and when they heard that they were telling us to go home they started chanting Israel go home over and over. They even slipped and said Jews go home. Once every Israel supporter left the street corner, they started cheering symbolizing that Israel went home meaning all the Jews left. I know because I was one of the last people to leave. Anyone who says that Israel was never our home and never our land is misinformed. If we were not part of the indigenous people of that region then tell me why we have historical buildings there older than any other buildings there. These pro-Palestine protesters were chanting why do children have to die while they support Hamas, the same people who are killing these children in the first place by shooting missiles around them and teaching them to be martyrs, all while using them as human shields. Instead of using aid money for food and education and medicine for the civilians and children, they put guns and missiles in their hands and pay them and their families to become terrorists. There are even Palestinians coming out with the truth about how Hamas and their government treat the people, and they are threatened to be killed for it (so much for freedom of speech). So yes I ask you why do children have to die? Because people like this support their killers. Anyone who does this does NOT care for the Palestinian people or their human rights. Why would you support a government that subjects its own people to terror and bloodshed. Why bash Israel, the only place in the Middle East where every citizen of any race, color or religion is ensured their equal human rights... Where they take in injured children from Gaza even Syria and hospitalize and treat them to save their lives because no one else is going to do it... and because they truly care. How can you say you truly care for humanity if you stand with the people who chant for the death of all Jews while treating their own people like they are nothing and only care for their deaths to be glorified by a casualty list for the media. These protesters are the same people who support leaders who admire Hitler and swear to finish the job. I, on the other hand, truly do care for humanity and believe NO ONE should live under governments like that of Hamas+PLO. Peace can NEVER exist when terrorism is in charge. So when they chant free Palestine they should add in free Palestine.. from terrorist reign otherwise they are essentially NOT pro-Palestine and NOT for its people. So Im sorry, World, that we have a home called Israel, the only true home we have because L-rd knows what happened the last time we lived next door to you. In the words of Kahane, its better to have a Jewish state that is hated by the whole world, than an Auschwitz thats loved by it!
