This wasnt a mistake in my opinion. I believe it was a specific sales idea due to the racial tensions. I believe they figured, this could really be lucrative since the average person believes quality is always in what costs MORE. I dont believe it would be figured as offensive, but rather special for the black doll to cost MORE. This guy just happened to see through the foolery. Target executives are definitely smart. They didnt try to justify it. They just chalked it up as an error, and retreated! Lol
