This week 22nd-27th September, 2013 marks Child Protection Week. The theme to commemorate this week of activities is caption under few simple, but yet profound word, captioning the role of every citizen and encouraging community participation to save our children " Joining Hands for Effective Child Protection Service". To start this week along the right path their was an awesome Church Service coordinated by my adorable friend and colleague Ms. Joanann Edghill who sought to echo the words of King Solomon in his admonishment in Proverbs 3:6 "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." followed by activities to reach every spectrum of society and administrated region of Guyana. Every day of this week their would be an open booth in the compound of the agency shearing information on its services and other pertinent matters relating to child protection. Today the agency take the streets of Georgetown for a grand parade/march which would commence at 1 at the Umana Yana and conclude at the National Park.
