This week EVERY shelter we work with has been full, and we have been scrambling to save as many lives as we can. Its hard to know that wonderful dogs just dont have the space to have a chance. I am doing my best to focus on what we have accomplished and continue to accomplish but sometimes I feel like I am trying to blow up a balloon with my nose...lol Pardon my lack of typical optimism. **URGENT *** URGENT**** Jack and his brother Mason came to the shelter as owner surrenders because their owner did not have enough time for them. They are lucky they have each other to play with as that makes the transition easier for them at the shelter. They are both awaiting adoption at the Humane Society of Amherst County. 434-946-2340. hsofac@gmail Jack is a very handsome dog with his unique coloring, white with marble patters and lovely light blue eyes. He is friendly and will lean up against his kennel for you to touch him. He is very easy to walk on the leash and was very patient during his photo session. Jack is about 1 year old and approx 50 pounds, He has a soft healthy coat. Mason has blue eyes like his brother and is a very congenial type of guy. Mason is black but if you look closely he has other shades in his coat as well. Mason is about 3 years old and approx. pounds. He is a calm & well behaved dog that is easy to handle as well. The Catahoula rescue said that Mason is a pure breed Catahoula. Both boys available for adoption now. Both are current on their vaccines and heartworm negative.
