This week I got to take care of/help out/motivate/congratulate/fuss over/cheer for these young men. To paraphrase Coach Carter they were boys on Wednesday, but are now men today!! Im so proud of them and their parents should be commended for the way they brought them up. Thank you to Mark Drehlich for the opportunity to come along with the team and gain experience at a National level. To Bob and Helen Kelly, you have shown me how a coach needs to handle themselves and their athletes. Rob Koroknai, being a runner/apprentice mechanic for you had been amazing! And to the men and women of the Victorian Team, you raced hard and you wore the Big V with pride, you should be pleased and proud of yourselves. Thanks for being such a rippa group! Nearly forgot, to Toowoomba Cycling Club, thank you for hosting an amazing Championships!!!! The course, the food, the people were amazing! Kudos to you =) =) =) Thats all from me, Partypants, out!
