This week again was a little weak as far as attendance! But again a relative success. Camlachie golf course was able to get carts out despite the inclement weather the night before, and treated us very well, as always. The next time we are there Len gave us an incredible discount because of an oversite on their part. Green fees will be between $17 & $20 on June 25th. And we have already been given 2 free passes to give away at our tournament. So thanks to everyone at Camlachie for the incredible hospitality! So skins went like this. Mike Helman birdied number 1 and was the only golfer able to par the dog leg left hole #4 for two shares. Richard Pennesi parred hole 5 for a net 3, and birdied hole #6 for 2 shares. Bruce Campbell parred #10 ffor a skin, Jeff Robb bogied #14 for a net 4 for a skin nd John Sanders parred #15 for a skin with a net 3. ( the par was good enough) The skins are worth $6 a share so see Bruce for your loot. Again this weeks player of the week honours go to Gary Kitunen who I see is now on the FB page. Welcome! Gary took the Tri-Fecta again this week with his Deuce on hole #9. So the CTP goes to him as well. Bobbi Ferreira was the closest to the pin on hole #18 this week! There is a $7 carry over into the skin pot next week when we play at Mooretown. The tournament fund is at $38, and both the expenses and charitable fund are at $19. A few flight changes to report. Al Kitunen is going from flight 2 to flight 3 and will be receiving four strokes in the future. And Big John and I will both be returning to our previous flights, and all is right with the world! In closing I would like to thank all the golfers who braved the weather this week. Special shout out to my foursome. Frank DiMaria, RAP, & Big John. We didnt have a chance to shake hands on the 18th green because we were all running for cover. But thanks for the enjoyable 15 holes. LOL. Remember next week we are at Mooretown and a hotdog on the turn is included in the price. So hopefully we get some big numbers out and generate some big money for our prize pool. Keep your head down!
