This week by far has been the roughest week of our life. We would like to thank everyone for all the advice, well wishes, thoughts, and prayers. With the overwhelming amount of love through text messages, emails, Facebook posts, and phone calls its hard to answer everyone. Miss Lilly has become a very popular girl. She has been added to prayer chains all over the US and we are forever grateful for that. Today we were told there was a possibility our little Lilly might have cancer and it just broke us. We have spent countless hours testing her for just about everything you can think of. We are reaching the end of testing. So far they are 100% sure she is anemic and starts iron supplements tomorrow. Now some of the tests take 48 to 120 hours to culture before we can find out if she has some kind of hidden virus . We spoke to the cancer doctor and the neurologist and they have come to the conclusion after reviewing the spinal tap and MRI that leukemia/cancer is not on the table at this point in time. We were removed out of isolation today so no more gloves, masks, and gowns. She still can not walk or sit up on her own. They know there is some kind of infection causing this but havent been able to properly identify which one yet. They have decided to hold off on the blood transfusion for now. They are afraid that doing it when they still have tests out might mess up other future treatment plans. Plus there is a good chance her body will not accept another persons blood since her immune system is not the greatest right now. From the sound of things she is going to be here a few days to a couple weeks. It all depends on her. Tonight we are battling a fever of 104 and shes back to throwing up. Please continue to pray for our little Lilly and her brothers and sisters. The kids are becoming aware that something is seriously wrong because Lilly and mom havent been coming home .
