This week, four huge bags of used jackets and brand new socks were taken over to the Springs Rescue Mission. Every year USA Volleyball staff does a coat and sock drive to assist the Colorado Springs community. Toiletries were also included in this donation. Springs Rescue Mission was very appreciative and the USAV staff would agree that it feels good to put coats on the backs of folks that need them. In addition to helping Springs Rescue Mission, USA Volleyball staff participated in their Annual Kid’s Crossing Giving Tree, providing gifts for children from different foster families, making each and every child who participated, Christmas extra special. Staff went above and beyond with their gifts and managed to still donate over $150.00 to Kid’s Crossing, unbelievable! We hope this post inspires you to help in your community this holiday season. - USAV
