This week is Elder Abuse Awareness Week (15 - 22 June). Elder Abuse comes in many forms, which is why it’s essential that we establish an Aged Care Commissioner to investigate claims of neglect, maltreatment, and financial mismanagement of some of the most vulnerable people in our society.
