This week is just flying by, its already Thursday. Domestic disputes seemed to occupy most of our time the last 24 hours, many of which are still under investigation. This is not necessarily a trend this time of year as we seem to have domestic violence issues all year long. However, this is a good reminder that if you know someone who is dealing with domestic violence, try to offer help. These situations are very complicated with financial obligations, children, and of course strong emotional feelings. We realize that simply leaving is not that easy, but we are here to help go over some options so the person doesnt feel totally alone. We have a full time officer and advocate who deal with just domestic violence. If you have a situation you would like help with please give Officer Bob McCurley a call, 774-2283, or simply reach out to us anytime. Regarding the Richard Wadley / stolen property case from yesterday....we are still investigating that case and others are believed to be involved, so stay tuned. But it is nice to get most of the property back, and return it back to the victims who thought they would never see it again. That is about it for the crime update this morning.
