This week marks one of the saddest and the greatest emotional upheavels of my life: the ending of my 35 year old relationship with my wife. Many might think this is too personal an event for Facebook. However, I let the supportive comments make that decision. There will be many more valleys and hills to climb and sink into but I already see that the hilltops are higher and the valleys shallower as this week has progressed. That change is made by the supportive friends who comment, stop by and are with you as you need them. Richard Stetson Adams, Mark Schober and his wife Felicia, Sandy Reese, Angela Sponsler Ford, Rob Rios, my sisters Leila and Lorinda and many others. One of the saddest things of all is the loss of the good friends connected in the relationship:, the sister-in-laws, the brother-in--laws, the nieces and the nephews, and mutual friends we shared; good important friendships that are the wreckage of divided loyalties. I thank all of you who have supported me and will continue to do so and the ones supporting my wife. I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve and know from experience that my best outlet for the emotions is through writing. I will continue this unless booed off of Facebook. Thanks again.
