This week, my haters hit an all time low. They first came out when I exposed a food allergy organizations ties to Kraft and Monsanto. They then came out when my book was published. They came out again with my first TEDx talk. But so did all of you. Lives were changed because of this work. People learned of the cross reactivity that a child with a peanut allergy could have to soy or of how artificial dyes could contribute to hyperactivity in children. They learned about the double standard in place - where U.S. food companies dont use things like high fructose corn syrup, GMOs, artificial dyes or artificial growth hormones in their products overseas. And people learned that they could do something. A lot has happened since the first book. The cast of characters is a good one. Kraft, Burger King, National Cattlemans Association, Monsanto.... But more importantly, it includes all of you. Suddenly, there was so much love, so much love and courage, from family, farmers, people inside the food industry and friends - friends that grew so close that they felt like family. And a movement, born out of the love to protect our families. Ultimately, that is what this story is....it is a love story. It always has been and always will be. And it is ours to tell.
