This week on the Floor: In addition to the DHS Appropriations Act, we will consider H.R. 185, Regulatory Accountability Act. Each household pays $15,000 annually for government regulations. This bill requires that the Executive Branch adopt the least costly method to implement the law, allowing you to spend more of your money where you really need it. Another package of bills that we will consider is H.R. 37, the Promoting Job Creation and Reducing Small Business Burdens Act. These 11 bills provide regulatory relief to help grow the economy and empower small business owners and entrepreneurs.
